If you ever encounter difficulties when making your calls, below are some hints and tips that can help connect you:

1. Dialing a Number:

  • Always dial the full international number.
Make sure the number is valid and working.
  • Start with “00” followed by the country code and the destination number.
Example: To call the UK from abroad, dial: 0044xxxxxxxxxx

2. SIM Card and App Registration:

  • Ensure the phone number registered within the app matches the SIM card in your handset.
This helps verify your identity and improves connection reliability.

3. Choosing the Right Call Type Setting:  There are two call type options in the app: Local and Wi-Fi.

Use “Local” when:

  • Your SIM card has inclusive minutes (e.g., in your mobile plan).
  • You want to route the call via your network carrier.

Use “Wi-Fi” when:

  • You are using a Pay-As-You-Go SIM with no credit.
  • You want to make calls over an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).

4. Calling Businesses and Premium Numbers

  • The app does not support premium-rate numbers.
  • If you try calling a business with a premium-registered number, the call will not connect.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Double-check the number format (starts with 00 + country code).
  • Confirm your SIM is inserted and active.
  • Make sure you’re using the correct call type (Local or Wi-Fi).
  • If a call doesn’t go through, try another number or check if the number is premium-rate.
